Please keep a few things in mind while you are playing in the Army of Some server:

 

** We do not allow profanity, foul or abusive language.   Your point can be made without using this kind of language.  Occasionally a player will attempt to circumvent our language filters by altering what everyone recognizes as an unsuitable comment.  You can be assured that if these comments are detected in the chat logs,  a punt or ban will occur, even if a computer warning has not been given. 

 

** Please don't take all the power-ups.  Take only what you need.   You can only carry a limited amount of each, so there's no need to take it all at once.

 

** While you may find it amusing to destroy the team's transportation or to shoot another player's satchel, you can be assured that you are the only one who does.  And this behavior will get you punted or banned from the server.      

 

** Do. Not. Skip. Checkpoints.  Our maps are COOP maps and are designed to be played as a team, clearing each objective before moving on to the next one.  It's not fair to run ahead for the kills while others are trying to clear the objectives.  If you are seen skipping checkpoints, you will be punted without warning.  If you return to the game and continue to skip checkpoints, you will be banned from our server.

 

** Do not recruit in our server.

 

** Occasionally we lock the server.  This is done so that we can test our maps to be sure that each map works and ends properly.  That doesn't mean, however, that each one will perform flawlessly.  If you should notice a problem with any of the maps, please bring it to our attention.

 

** We try to put maps on the server that are enjoyable and challenging.  Many hours are spent by the mapmaker in creating the missions,  but not every map will suit every player.   If a map is playing that you don't particularly care for, please just leave the game.  It is not necessary to criticize the map or the mapmaker just because you don't like the map.
